Coping with the loss of a loved one during the holidays is oftentimes very difficult. Each year Appalachian Hospice Care hosts a Service of Remembrance to honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of those who have passed on. Our Service of Remembrance includes hanging dove ornaments in memory of those who have passed, prayer, music, and light refreshments. This event is open not only to families of patients that AHC has served, but also to our entire community.
The luncheon is held the last Thursday of October each year. We appreciate the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much for this country. Without the help of community partners, sponsors, and volunteers this event would not be possible. If you are interested in partnering with AHC in 2020 to sponsor the Seventh Annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon, call Sharon Branham, CEO or Shag Branham COO at 606-432-2112.
