Coping with the loss of a loved one during the holidays is oftentimes very difficult. Each year Appalachian Hospice Care hosts a Service of Remembrance to honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of those who have passed on. Our Service of Remembrance includes hanging dove ornaments in memory of those who have passed, prayer, music, and light refreshments. This event is open not only to families of patients that AHC has served, but also to our entire community.

Appalachian Hospice and Home Health Services is certified by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services and is a member of both the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association and the Kentucky Association of Hospice and Palliative Care.

Appalachian Hospice and Home Health Services adheres to all HIPAA privacy policies.
