August 23, 2019 – The Appalachian Hospice Care team was awarded Outstanding Contribution by an Organization by the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce at the Annual SEKC Awards Night earlier this week. AHC received this honor for the work they do throughout the Big Sandy region, including being a not-for-profit agency and never denying patients care because of lack of insurance, as well as their work in organizing and hosting an annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon.

AHC President/CEO Sharon Branham and Medical Director Dr. Bill Fannin were on hand to receive the award.

AHC is a proud member of the Southeast Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and was a Silver Sponsor for the event.
