What we do

When a disease progresses and focus shifts to pain and symptom management, hospice provides medical care, comfort care, and spiritual support for terminally ill patients and their families.

The goal of hospice is to help patients live as fully and comfortably as possible, while ensuring that their families have the support they need, as well. AHC aims to fulfill patients’ wishes, relieve caregivers’ stress and fears, and tailor each patient’s plan of care to meet their unique needs.

Hospice is about living

Our commitment to quality

Our team focuses on an approach that comforts the whole person – mind, body, and spirit.

We believe it’s just as important to care for our patients’ loved ones and caregivers as it is to care for our patients, which is why we offer grief counseling, bereavement services, and spiritual care. Built on a commitment to the people of our region, AHC is a recognized leader of quality care in Kentucky year after year.Β
